Closure of our specialised benefits advice service
We regretfully announce that our specialist carers benefits service has closed.
We had funding for a fixed period to provide a benefits advice service for carers, with two expert part-time Carers Benefits Advisers providing detailed advice on benefits and assisting with form-filling. This service made a great difference to many unpaid carers.
Unfortunately, funding has now come to an end, and so this service has closed.
Support on benefits
Our Carers Support Advisers and our Helpline team will still be able to talk to carers about benefits and give general information and signposting. More information here.
However, for detailed information, and help with completing forms, carers will now be signposted to other organisations, principally Citizens Advice. Carers can find their local Citizens Advice here.
